Air Fryer Fries (+Truffle Salt)

Ingredients

2 russet potatoes

drizzle of olive oil

1 - 2 teaspoons truffle salt 

Directions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into 0.5-1 inch wide strips.

  2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for an at least hour* and pat them dry.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil and mix well until evenly coated.

  4. Fry them at 400 degrees F for 16 minutes.**

  5. Sprinkle truffle salt over top to taste and serve with your favourite dipping sauce!

Notes

*The general consensus is that this draws out the starch from the potatoes.

**Flipping them half way is not necessary as long as you avoid overlapping. You’ll likely have to fry them in batches.
