Green (Cilantro Mint) Chutney

Ingredients

Bunch of cilantro leaves

Bunch of mint leaves

1-2 cloves of garlic

1/2 lemon (juiced)

1 tbs of ginger (diced/chopped if you want)

1 green chilli

A splash of water

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground cumin

Directions

  • In a blender, add the cilantro leaves, mint leaves, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, chilli, and water

  • Blend everything up, and add a little more water if needed to help with the blending*

  • Transfer the chutney to a bowl and add in the salt and cumin. Stir everything together

  • Add some more lemon juice over top if you like

Notes

*Careful not to over blend

**You can serve this with samosas (or other South Asian snacks), on wraps/sandwiches, salads, veggies, etc.
